1. Monopoly over content and channels by a few major corporations is broken.

2. 'Digital' has made this possible. Now control over the means is in the hands of their creators.

3. Large corporations that intermediated between the creator and his fans are no longer needed.

4. Digital tools are making possible this disintermediation.

5. Therefore there is no need to cede control of our creations.

6. Control over our creations now will be handled by ourselves independently.
