Daniel Gutiérrez aparece en la escena musical de Medellín- Colombia como uno de los cancionistas jóvenes con mayor proyección. Sus canciones, nutridas de historias y dramas, aparecen arropadas por armonías sencillas y melodías frescas que sirven de complemento perfecto a letras cuidadosas, sinceras y poéticas.

Daniel ha tocado en diferentes escenarios de la ciudad como el Pequeño Teatro, el Teatro Oficina Central de los Sueños, Casa del Teatro, Teatro Popular de Medellín, Fractal Teatro, Universidad de Antioquia, programa Mil Años de la Música de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Picnic Concierto de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Elemental Teatro, teatro La Polilla, Los Días del Libro con la Alcaldía de Medellín, el Festival Internacional Dándole Cuerda, entre otros espacios representativos de la escena local.

Como periodista dirigió el Documental Los Cancionistas: Esta Vida en Canciones. Un trabajo sobre los cantautores Pala, Alejo García y Esteban Gira.

Twenty-six-year old Daniel Gutierrez has emerged as one of the most notable and talented singer songwriters from the city of Medellin, Colombia. His songs, borne and nurtured out of personal stories and experiences, express themselves wrapped in fresh and simple melodies that perfectly compliment the careful, sincere and poetic lyrics that his music embodies.

As an artist, Daniel has become entrenched in his city's music scene by playing in some of Medellin's most quintessential and culturally rich stages, including El Pequeño Teatro (the Little Theatre), El Teatro Oficina Central de los Sueños (The Central Office Theater of Dreams), Teatro Popular de Medellin (Popular Theatre of Medellin), and at the University of Antioquia. He has also been invited to perform at city-based festivals, such as the Colombia National University's "Thousand Years of Music", and the National University's "Picnic Concert", as well as "Book Days" literary festival organized by the government of Medellin.

As a journalist, he produced and directed "Los Cancionistas: This life in Songs," an intimate documentary about three of Medellin's most acclaimed independent songwriters, Pala, Alejo Garcia, and Esteban Gira.
